This linden has heart-shaped leaves that are silvery-white beneath and June flowers that are highly fragrant. All linden species are great trees to plant where bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are welcome. Bees especially, will be attracted to the blooming flowers in droves. The species has male and female flowers on the same tree.
