This native of Europe has shiny, dark-green leaves with June flowers that are highly fragrant. All linden species are great trees to plant where bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are welcome. Bees especially, will be attracted to the blooming flowers in droves. Male and female flowers are on the same tree.
