This linden has larger, dark-green, heart-shaped leaves with June flowers that are also highly fragrant. All linden species are great trees to plant where bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are welcome. Bees especially, will be attracted to the blooming flowers in droves. The species has male and female flowers on the same tree.
