A very hardy, tall, common native evergreen of New Brunswick with a natural range stretching across most of Canada. It can live to 200 years and is the provincial tree of Manitoba. Attractive bluish-green needles and greenish-grey twigs. An important timber tree in the forestry industry used to make many building products. Provides food and shelter for local wildlife.
